The upgrade fails because of at least this package:

xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.99.911+git1404231930.5fbbfd~gd~s 0

This is from a PPA and not the official Ubuntu repositories and includes
a version number greater than the package provided by the official
Ubuntu repositories. Subsequently, the upgrade is unable to succeed.
You'll need to use the tool ppa-purge to install the official version of
the Ubuntu packages and disable the PPA before the upgrade can succeed.
Thanks and good luck.
