I agree that there need to be more php5 extensions available. It's worth
pointing out, however, that some of these extensions are statically-
compiled into the main php5 packages.

Would it be useful to start a wiki page on *all* the extensions that are
shipped with the PHP 5 source, and make a table of which ones are part
of the main package, which ones are in their own package, and which ones
aren't built at all? It'd be an interesting way to prioritize which ones
can be built at all.
