Public bug reported: Ubuntu 14.04 64bit, Macbook Pro Retina 15"
On a Macbook Pro Retina 15" the screen brightness does not adjust according to the indication bar. In 13.10 the indicator would not adjust and the screen brightness stayed at maximum. In 14.04 the indicator changes but the screen brightness still stays at maximum. Keyboard backlight changes and dimms correctly. On Macbook Pro Retina 13" the screen brightness adjusts correctly (uses an intel graphics card) On old Macbook Pros it worked all the time.
