Public bug reported:

>From time to time I experience following bug with Gnucash:

1. I start Gnucash from terminal.
2. Gnucash starts and loads last opened file — I see all my accounts etc.

Then if i click on items or try to use keyboard inside Gnucash window nothing
happens: window contents is not redrawed.
If I click on menu item, or switch to other window, or resize window, or do
right-click window will redraw and I will see, that actually all clicks were
delivered to application: selection changes, entered text appears.

Usually application restart helps and all works fine.

I experienced similar to this bug in Ubuntu 13.10: sometimes application
redrawed but with some delay, so it looked very laggy.
