Discussed with slangasek who brought up a good point: it probably makes sense to introduce a '--append-confdir' or '--add-confdir' since that would:
a) Make it more difficult to make a device unbootable (with only --confdir, if you forget to add '--confdir /etc/init/', your device will likely not boot). b) Minimise the required kernel command-line changes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1315060 Title: Allow --confdir to look for system jobs in more than one directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/savilerow/+bug/1315060/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
