I would suggest to try the package "ndisgtk", which provide a convenient GUI to ndiswrapper. It is not a wizard, but it is a more convenient way to install WiFi drivers.
I agree that ndiswrapper should be included in the standard image and support should be improved, evtl, with a webpage that gets opened on the first run or a menu option in ndisgtk.
