First of all, it's not a "misconfiguration", it's a perfectly working 
configuration.

Secondly, the claim that there's nothing you can do detect and deal with it is 
ridiculous.
If there's a sequence of commands you can type to get the information and fix 
the problem, that can be automated.

Yep, there's nothing here but a bunch of people venting their
frustration. Usually on a normal bug report there are people venting
their frustration and people trying to fix it. But if you close it as
"opinion" then yes, it will only be people venting their frustration
(plus an - pardon - plus a person claiming such a thing is not a bug)
