I have a similar problem on the exact same architecture. Nevertheless, I don't think my problem depends on how long the computer stays suspended. >From what I can see, as soon as I close the lid I know if resume will work fine or not:
- if the suspend light starts blinking after a few seconds, the computer will resume fine when openning the lid - if the suspend light stays on, I know resume will not work On this same machine I had no problem with Ubuntu 13.10. It started when I cleanly installed 14.04. I reported this problem a lot of time using the message boxes that appear when I force reboot my laptop (probably around 50 times now as I always click on "Report"). Each time I reboot, I can see at least 6 such message boxes. Nevertheless, I can't find these automatic reports. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1297961 Title: [Apple Inc.
