reproduction: 1. hit Super (Windows) -> Dash opens and apps and folders/files are shown 2. type one letter e.g. "t" -> apps and folders/files with "t" are listed 3. press backspace -> only folders/files are listed 4. type one letter e.g. "t" -> only folders/files with "t" are listed 5. press backspace -> apps and folders/files are listed 6. continues like 2. So depending on what is shown before typing, there are only folders/files listed or apps are visible too.
