still having the problem w Simple Scan and ubuntu 14.04 w all fixes. The problem does not happens with XSane, but after using Simple Scan also XSane does not find the scanner. Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) Kernel 3.13.0-24-generic (#47-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 2 23:30:00 UTC 2014)
