Do you have any other qt-based application from the top of your head other than Qt creator? I'm not sure what it is but it looks like a tool for creating an application, so in order to test it I should create an application with it and then try printing with that application ¿? (the File/Print menu item in Qt creator itself is disabled out of the box)
