It is fairly unlikely that the Gyre fonts will make it into Gutsy. I
don't think they have made it into Debian yet ( http://lists.debian.org
/debian-tex-maint/2007/08/msg00221.html ) and I don't think Ubuntu has
resources to do it. If Debian gets them soon the perhaps we can try to
sync them over. I'm sorry we can't do more for Gutsy, but we are
basically just too late in the release cycle for it, in my opinion.
I don't think it's possible to just blindly take all of the TeXLive
fonts. Norbert (Debian maintainer and TeXLive developer) might have
better insight.
