Yes, my laptop has a wifi on/off toggle hotkey , and ever since i have installed Ubuntu, i see it blinking between blue and orange state, but it has no effect on my wifi connection , i mean that i am connected to my wifi network.
But when i click on my icon, the wifi switches off, cutting the connection to my wifi network. But sometimes when i resume from suspend wifi never comes online, sometimes it doesn't.
