Upstream testing as things stand is beyond Rocket Science for in the latter one would have at least a trajectory. ;-} Getting fixed at some point in a higher kernel (far beyond what the LTS will ever see) helps only temporarily if the issues (with references to related bugs removed) keep regressing - and mostly remain undetected as the bug reporting pop- up at reboot does not actually send out anything through Firefox.
