Public bug reported:
Currently the following happens:
1. In there main window there is an indication of updates being available.
2. User performs updates.
3. User goes back to the main window and there it still says that updates are
present when they have been just done.
I'd expect that if the user goes back to the main windows that it is
refreshed and the updates indication is removed.
