Hello, I've also got a Toshiba P100. In order to get sound under Feisty, you need to correct your DSDT, following instructions at this address : (http://sle.homelinux.net/wiki/doku.php?id=ubuntu-7.04:dsdt (it's in french...).
The HDA Intel chipset will then start gracefully thanks to the DSDT correction but, under Gutsy, this doesn't work anymore : there is a regression concerning this sound chip and I have found no solution as of now. -- Sound HDA-Intel toshiba P100 doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/130381 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
