The XFig drawing program uses fig2dev to produce files that can be input into a
Latex document.
Fig2dev converts from the .fig format to various formats such as .eps and
.pictex.
Pictex is a format that can be directly read by Latex so it has a number of
advantages over .eps
for math equations.
Current (August 2014) .pictex files produced by fig2dev have a bug. Near the
top of the generated file, there is a definition for 'SetFigFont'. Later in
the file, that definition is called as 'SetFigFontNFSS', to generate lines and
so on. Latex barfs when it reads this because the two names are different.
The work-around solution is to manually edit the .pictex file. Change the
definition
from SetFigFont to SetFigFontNFSS. (Or you could do it the other way round, as
long
as the names are consistent.)
Then the generated lines etc will use the correct definition.
This is a fig2dev bug. It should use the same definition name when defining and
when using the macro.
