Public bug reported:

Step to reproduce:

1) mount a drive using the terminal, start to copy files on it
2) Install Ubuntu
3) When the parted dialog show and ask to unmount all drive, say "no"
4) Select the root partition and set "/"
5) It complain again for no valid reasons (ext4 -> ext4 for the same partition
should _not_ change the partition table)
6) The timezone dialog show even if there was a "fatal" error.
7) A dialog ask to either force unmount or go back. Neither work

7.a) The "Go back" button does absolutly nothing
7.b) The "Continue" button start the installation, but it get stuck forever on
"Detecting drives"

While this may not be the most common installation scenario, this bug
prevent Ubuntu from being installed and Ubiquity have to be X-killed.
