Public bug reported: im currently using Ubuntu Utopic with mesa 10.2.6. This morning i opened glxgears. I was surprised about the huge performance, not seen any time before (>300 FPS!). But when using the glxinfo program, it says something like:
OpenGL renderer: Gallium 0.4 in llvm 3.4 (128 bits) Yesterday it said: OpenGL renderer: Gallium 0.4 in AMD KABINI My hardware is AMD A6-5200 with Radeon HD 8400 It has been working well until today..... Of course, 3D performance in games is now.... so ugly im now at work, thats why i cannot attach apport information. I will do so tonight. ** Affects: mesa (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361755 Title: glxinfo says im using llvm for rendering instead of AMD kabini (my gfX card) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/1361755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
