During the past week, this issue has reappeared: upon resume from a
system suspend, sytem initially starts, but freezes with blank screen,
and does not respond to Crt-Alt-F1 or any other input. Associated with
this problem, I presume, was a failure the wine software, requiring its
re-installation to operate again. I have performed the "apt-get update,
dist-upgrade" with no change in behavior. This has not affected two
laptops running Xubuntu, Compaq V6501NR and Toshiba Satellite A105.
Multiple reports have been submitted as a part of each reboot required
to restart.
