YES!

This is what I did:

[francavi@ugu:~]$ xfsettingsd --replace
xfce4-settings: Unknown option --replace
Try xfce4-settings --help to see a full list of available command line options.
[francavi@ugu:~]$ xfsettingsd replace
[francavi@ugu:~]$ xfsettingsd -f replace

and at the end shortcuts work
