The symptoms, the source, and issue are *identical*.  Further, the OP of
this bug reports: "But it's spamming the syslog, making it very
difficult to find any other thing there, and it's generating constant
writes to disk, and an unnecessarily large syslog file." So what exactly
do you find different to this bug than that of 57843?
