Hi Christopher: First, to let you know about a crash: I was running 3.13.0-35 and it spontaneously woke up from sleep and froze on me, with the screen repeating an error message approximately like: mei_me no destination server found. I have a dmesg copy from what I believe is right before the crash (when it went to sleep and before spontaneously waking) but do not see anything obvious in it. Just in case, it's attached.
I'll try out the most recent kernel when I get a chance. I've not been able to use rc1 much and have been waiting to catch it in the act of crashing--with my dmesg on suspend code running. Would like to get that to you so perhaps the problem could be identified. I haven't used rc1 heavily in part because I can't compile dkms for virtualbox, which I need for attaching to my workplace infrastructure. Apparently, it's not available for that version of the kernel yet. Given that this laptop has been out for several years, it's not a good thing that ubuntu still has problems with it.
