Mine had a crash and reported a bug for nvidia-331-uvm during automatic upgrade (unattended-upgrades). Thereafter I tried to do this:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure nvidia-331 after that... $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure nvidia-331-uvm and both seemed to work well, "DKMS: install completed." without apparent errors.
