Hello. I installed the latest x64 upstream kernel as well as the headers for it from the link you provided.
I got to the login screen, and after I entered my password it just hanged there and I never got to the desktop. I tried one more time, and this time I did not enter my password. I used the top bar to connect to the internet in the login screen but wifi was still not recognized. Hence, I just added the tag kernel-bug-exists-upstream. Let me know if I should have used the second one you mentioned. P.S.: I just noticed that during the booting time I get a message saying that Bluetooth is not available either. I guess that doesn't have a proper driver either. Not sure if it's the same device or not. Cheers. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1383184 Title: Atheros Qualcomm Killer N1525 Wireless-AC [168c:003e] not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1383184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
