Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. This is a bug in the Octave package that has been fixed in the
Debian upstream package but is not in the version in 14.04 or 14.10. To
fix this problem on your system, please remove the octave-fixed package
(which has been removed from the Ubuntu repositories) and then continue
the upgrade:
sudo apt-get purge octave-fixed
sudo apt-get install -f
