Public bug reported: $ baobab --version baobab 3.8.2
Right-clicking a folder in the list on the left presents options such as "open folder" and "move to the rubbish bin." Assume Folder A is currently selected (i.e. previously left-clicked). If Folder B is right-clicked, the actions in that menu will apply to Folder A, not Folder B. In my case, this resulted in the attempted deletion of my home directory rather than one of its descendants. Making the right-click menu operate on the right-clicked item unconditionally would probably be more intuitive behaviour. ** Affects: baobab (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1386678 Title: right-click menu actions don't always act on right-clicked item To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/baobab/+bug/1386678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
