0. Using 'Software Updater' installed (3.13.0-39.66) updates, nvidia-331 error messages displayed midway during install. I side stepped the expected upcoming 'unable to re-boot' scenario with the following treatment after the kernel install flagged errors. 1. Switch from the nvidia proprietary 331 driver to Nouveau video driver using the 'Additional Drivers' tool. 2. Restart, After reboot, the earlier nvidia-331 error was redetected leading to this report though I'm running Nouveau. I'll switch back to the nvidia-331 driver later in the day. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1357376 Title: nvidia-331-updates 331.38-0ubuntu7.1: nvidia-331-updates kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-331-updates/+bug/1357376/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
