Maximilien Levesque, 12.04.5 is not considered a previous release for the purposes of testing this bug as it has the same linux kernel (package that is the cause of this problem) as Trusty. Discussing releases that don't boot is not helpful in troubleshooting this issue.
Despite this, could you please test 12.04.0 (3.2.x kernel) via http ://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04.0/ and advise to the results? ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream-3.18-rc1 ** Tags added: trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1387865 Title: [Aorus X3+] Touchpad not working in Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1387865/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
