Maximilien Levesque, 12.04.5 is not considered a previous release for
the purposes of testing this bug as it has the same linux kernel
(package that is the cause of this problem) as Trusty. Discussing
releases that don't boot is not helpful in troubleshooting this issue.

Despite this, could you please test 12.04.0 (3.2.x kernel) via http
://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04.0/ and advise to the results?
