Hello, this is not a bug in mediathekview but the way distributions work. Version 6 was available for the first time when Ubuntu 14.04 development was frozen. New upstream releases could not be considered anymore. However you can still ask for Backports, if you want a newer version in Trusty.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports Another option is to add a newer Ubuntu release to your sources.list file. If you want to go this way, it is recommended to read more about "Pinning" and "/etc/apt/sources.list" before you continue. ** Changed in: mediathekview (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1313933 Title: Mediathekview is available in version 6.x ubuntu installs 4.x To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mediathekview/+bug/1313933/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
