Sorry, I missed your comment.  I had looked at this package a couple of
weeks ago and it had built successfully in my PPA, so I went ahead and
sync'd.

It seems that since trusty, libtiff5-dev is the only provider of libtiff-dev, 
so I can't see this change having any effect.
