However, like 'sgustafso', I too noticed the eventual disappearance two- finger scrolling. I'm now testing edge scrolling setting from "Unity Tweak Tool", which perhaps generates fewer events (?). Also, curious as to the role of "smartscroll", which is on by default: "smartscroll:Logitech Smartscroll autorepeat, 1 = enabled (default), 0 = disabled.
