Christopher, thanks for reply. A have a comment and few questions. I have 14.04 LTS installed. I can only boot into X with "nomodeset" in options. in other cases i got my screen screwed up and system in infinite loop. shall i follow following procedure or do something different? 1. install xdiagnose 2. reboot without "nomodeset" option. have driver crash 3. reboot with "nomodeset" or just to text mode and extract logs for you?
right? I also have just downloaded latest vivid-desktop-amd64.iso, however, its strange, but i can't boot from it yet, syslinux show error something about partition... then about comrgb.c32 or something like that. will try it again later. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/977588 Title: GPU hangs with PGRAPH TLB flush idle timeout fail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/977588/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
