Sorry for my english but I don't understand if the fix works or not when you say "We released a fix but it does not work" then "The one we released was text entry not showing randomly on multimonitor and seems to be fixed", for me it's contradictory.
What I can say : - My PC using Marco Trevisan's unity package (https://launchpad.net/~3v1n0/+archive/ubuntu/unity-tests) works perfectly since 2014-09-11, - Another PC using Ubuntu's unity package, randomly, I have no input field to type password for unlock (normally this PC is up to date but I have to check).
