Yeah, it does. I wasn't able to find any replacement. Do you happen to know of one? There haven't been any upstream updates in many, many years, so it's possible that the upstream author has lost interest, gone off-line, or otherwise isn't planning on doing further development. (The Debian and Ubuntu versions are already pretty forked from the original.)
