So this is a different bug since this message originates somewhere else. The two messages are:
pci_bus 0000:09: Allocating resources i915 0000:00:02.0: BAR 6: [??? 0x00000000 flags 0x2] has bogus alignment Looking at upstream I don't see any patches that seem to change those two messages, and 'Allocating resources' should be a DEBUG message; while 'has bogus alignment' is WARN. Have you altered your kernel log settings at all? Another approach would be to test latest mainline to see if there were other fixes that would cause these messages to not be triggered. If you are able to test, can you install mainline and see if those messages persist? http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1401518 Title: Syslog spammed by 10 lines every 2 seconds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1401518/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
