Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
It seems you can't resize windows if you have multihead configuration (2 monitors). Installed Gutsy, enabled desktop effect worked like a charm. Then I edited xorg.conf. I use VGA head for primary LCD display and DVI head for LCD TV. After restarting with new configuration, it was nearly impossible to resize any window by picking and dragging its corners. So I had to turn off desktop effects. Maybe it is to much for compiz to work on two heads at once. It wouldn't bother me, if compiz could be disabled on secondary heads. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Gutsy]Resizing windows using multihead is nearly impossible https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139066 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
