I have changed my static ip configguration in /etc/network/interfaces. But i was unable to use any of the command to bring my interface up and running. It's totally useless thing what i have found. I tried the following options. none of them worked. 1. sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart 2. sudo ifdown eth0 3. sudo ifup eth0 4. sudo ifconfig eth0 down 5. sudo ifconfig eth0 up but none of them reloads the /etc/network/interfaces
