Public bug reported: When starting from cold, the built-in audio system (Speakers) do not always appear in the Sound panel. After a restart, if the Speakers do appear, the Settings for Speakers will list the HDMI option instead of the Test Sound button. A workaround is to plug in a set of Headphones and select them to produce their Test Sound button. If the Speakers are then re-selected, their Test Sound button appears as expected.
