Hi, tried 1.0.15rc1 and everything worked fine. Quality is much better, specially for recording. No patches needed.
I know that the drivers should be enough, but i'm just trying the whole thing for kicks. It's not all that difficult to make install libs, firmware, utils and drivers if i have to make install drivers... and that somehow less buggy, since testing is all done on releases...
