I found a workaround which is probably simpler: sudo sed -i 's/utopic/vivid/g' /etc/apt/sources.list followed by sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get dist-upgrade.
In this way, the ppa version of systemd is upgraded to the most recent ubuntu version! Following your suggestion I would, besides systemd-sysv, also have to downgrade systemd (which looked scaring to me).
