Could this help Title: Ubuntu Install Crash Procedure: 1) Install Ubuntu 32 bit from DVD 2) Follow instructions, select first install option "install on top of XXX" 3) At 2/3 if the install, the screen freezes and reverts to terminal with "panic error" 4) Tried 7 times and it all failed.
