I updated the bios to F7 and no change. It is also may be important to not i was getting the same error with my hard drives as well. Switching the AHCI mode fixed it but now for whatever reason every time i boot i have to press S to skip mounting a drive. It didn't do this before switching to AHCI mode and once fully booted into Ubuntu i can access the same drive i skipped fine with no issues.
