But can I please ask you what exactly to do now in what order on a freshly installed Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 I'm just re-installing and don't want to do anything wrong or in the wrong order now... 8-) I did have the frozen clickpad-issue before re-install and Odie's solution did work for my setup. greetings Bernhard
