Yep, I agree blacklisting intel chipset altogether is a bit overkill.

I can admit new 'intel' driver is the next big thing regarding intel
chipsets, but for now it just does'nt seem to work much better than i810
in quite a few situations (this bug and a few others in xorg reporting
problems with 'intel' driver).

I would advocate blacklisting 'intel' rather than intel chipsets,
although I'm not sure this is possible (do you blacklist drivers or
chipsets ?)
