Ok, I'm giving the kernel 3.19 a try. Here is a list of the steps I'm following according to the information gathered in this thread. Please tell me if I'm missing something: - Install the kernel 3.19 from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.19-rc7-vivid/ - Clone the GIT repository: git clone https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.git - Compile and install the drivers: make && sudo make install - Blacklist the r8192ee module
