Hi Ian, Thanks for submitting this bug report.
This is due to how the Linux Container (LXC) is set up for the Unity 8 session. A best practice for setting up LXC's is to use an Ethernet bridge between the container and the host. This is how the unity8-lxc is set up. That said, I can look into seeing if it's possible to directly set up the network from the Unity 8 session and if so, make sure it's sound as far as LXC's go. ** Changed in: unity8-lxc (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: unity8-lxc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: unity8-lxc (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Christopher Townsend (townsend) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1419575 Title: WiFi not detected - Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8-lxc/+bug/1419575/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
