Public bug reported: Tried the current iso from 11.02.2015 and had the same issue like some Monts ago:
The Desktop video output is offset downwards, like 1/3 of the screen high. So the Panel is at ~ 2/3 height of the Screen. But the mousecursor is not offset. So if you click on what you see, in reality you click on something that is somewhat further down. So the desktop is not usable at all. I use a Lenovo thinkpad x230i with Intel Core i3-3110M with HD4000. At the moment its inside the dockingstation. ** Affects: unity8-desktop-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1421344 Title: unity8 desktop video output is offset but Mousecursor isnt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8-desktop-session/+bug/1421344/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
