Binary package hint: adept
I installed Ubuntu Gutsy because I was interested in the new version. As a
development version it has a lot of software updates, some appear in minutes
after last update. During one of the latest updates I ran adept ( though I like
manual console updates I wanted to test the graphical update tool ). It
downloaded software successfully. Then it came to installation and replacing.
After that, dpkg said it needed to restart KDM. That's the problem... KDM
failed to restart and the update process was not finished!
I got back to console and reconfigured dpkg. I re-ran the upgrade process
manually and this time it was successful.
