Hi, this still happens on 14.04 64bit. A test case can be the crossover .deb package.
https://media.codeweavers.com/pub/crossover/cxlinux/demo/crossover_14.0.3-1.deb The USC opens and offers to install the package. After installation it does not show it as actually being installed even if it is.
